Piper Computer Final Thoughts

I also want to add, that I keep coming back to the Piper Computer just for fun now that I've gone through the lessons.  It is so neat having my own "laptop" that I made myself.  I took it to the Fredonia Mini Maker Faire, where I had my first hands on activity (Make Your Own Vibrobots).  Adults and kids alike loved checking out my Piper Computer while they waited for their turn to make a vibrobot.  Check out the Piper Computer Kit at: https://www.buildpiper.com/pages/piper-computer-kit

Halloween Hiatus

I also carved this pumpkin above for Halloween by myself with no other help.

Below are a couple of photos of me as Junie B. Jones in the school musical.
I can't post any video of the play for copyright reasons but it was great.

National Robotics Week at the Rochester Museum and Science Center

This day was really fun. The girls i am talking to in
                                          this photo are girl scouts.

I love to talk to people and show them how cool
                                          robots can be.

Talking to people that are the same age as me is a
lot easier because i know what they should
                                          understand.

It's also important to learn from others, like when
I was talking to students from the University of Rochester.

XYZ Printing Bolide Robot Unboxing, Build Photos, and Video Review

Hi this is Rosie!  I got a little behind on my blog, but I have three things to share with you today.  First I have a video I made on unboxing the XYZ Printing Bolide Robot.  Second I have a bunch of photos of the assembly of the Bolide Robot.  And lastly I have put together a video review of the Bolide Robot from my point of view.

1.

2.

3.

For more information about the Bolide Advance Robot, please go to their website at http://www.xyzrobot.com/us_en/product/diy-robot/advance . Again, this is a great robot as it grows with you.  Now I just need to get a 3D printer as I want to create new designs for it's shell.

For schools wanting more information about the Bolide my dad wanted me to put this link in - http://www.exploringrobots.com/index.php/robots/bolide-humanoid-robot.html

Thanks for watching!

In the future I will have more video reviews of the new Meccano Meccanoid 2.0 XL, the Sphero Spark +, and maybe the WonderWorkshop Dash Robot.  Please be on the lookout for those videos in the coming weeks.
